Our apricot seed oil is clear to pale yellow, with a subtle, naturally nutty scent. To create a high-quality oil, apricot fruit kernels (containing ~40–50% oil) are cold-pressed to preserve nutrients and skin benefits. (Lower-quality oils may use chemical solvents—we don’t.)
Naming note: You’ll also see this ingredient called apricot kernel oil, apricot pit oil or apricot nut oil — these are consumer names for the same cosmetic ingredient. The INCI remains Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil.
