Gentle Day Organic Face Cream

Our Gentle Day Organic Face Cream helps to calm and restore dry, sensitive skin. It has a very light citrus and aromatic fragrance of Chamomile.

The right blend of natural ingredients can provide relief for dry skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.

So how do the active ingredients in this organic face cream work?

•  Organic Shea Butter is a wonderful skin moisturiser. Shea can help soothe cracked and damaged skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple. It is also rich in vitamins A and E which are both antioxidants. These help combat free radicals on skin, caused by environmental factors. Raw Shea butter is also called karite butter as it is made from nuts grown on the karite tree in Ghana.

• Organic Cocoa butter is a fabulously rich moisturiser. We only use cold pressed butter to ensure high levels of fatty acids and antioxidants. Fatty acids help to deeply hydrate your skin and keep it looking younger.

• We have also added Organic Comfrey Oil to this day cream. It benefits your skin with healing and moisturising properties. The key active in comfrey oil is allantoin which is both anti-aging and good for sensitive skin.

• Vitamin B3 is included in the form of Niacinamide to help skin cell renewal. It has soothing benefits and can also help to calm eczema and improve skin tone.

• Organic Evening Primrose oil has antioxidant properties helping to alleviate skin damage caused by free radicals. This oil also has a high GLA content which helps to keep your skin looking healthy by adding moisture and maintaining collagen levels.

• We've also added pure Organic Chamomile essential oil. It is calming, blends well with Lavender, and has great anti-inflammatory properties.

• Organic Lavender essential oil is cleansing and helps to tone skin. It can also reduce any redness and skin irritation.

A wonderfully rich and replenishing natural moisturizer for dry skin. It can help to combat the dry environment of daily life. Another benefit is you will only need a very small quantity to moisturise your skin - a little goes a long way!
