All the products I tried, even organic skincare made using natural ingredients, were simply not rich enough. Talking with family and friends, I discovered many of them had suffered allergic reactions to mainstream skincare.
In more recent years my husband, Quentin developed chemical sensitivity and suffered a severe allergic reaction leading to him being hospitalised. It was a life-changing experience for both of us – you can read more about this in our guide to Conscious Living.
It really focused our attention on ingredients and the modern toxic world that surrounds us. These events inspired me to create an organic skincare brand using the highest quality natural ingredients. One built with an ethical philosophy at the heart, from the sourcing of ingredients right through to the eco-friendly packaging we use for shipping orders.
Our customers love the fact our vegan skincare is created and made entirely in-house in West Wales. We have always worked hard to ensure our range is cruelty-free, certified by PETA.
We are also proud to be recognised by The Good Shopping Guide, achieving an excellent 98/100 ethical rating across skincare, soap & haircare categories. Their review highlighted our respect for the Environment, Animals and People, our cruelty-free certifications, and our clear list of ingredients to avoid for environmental and health reasons.
Over the last 15 years we've gained recognition and accreditations by well-respected organisations in the natural and organic world. Our products have picked up numerous awards and we have been lucky to work with some amazing organisations!
We developed a range for The Royal Ballet in London. It was not only a fantastic collaboration, but a great demonstration of the quality and standards we aspire to. It also reflects the design-led ethos we follow, ensuring products look as good on the outside as they are inside. In addition we partnered with The National Trust, and more recently Westminster Abbey. It is a great privilege to partner with such an esteemed organisation!
This video was filmed on location at our local beach (Llangrannog) in stunning West Wales where our skincare is lovingly handcrafted. It features the beautiful Maisy coping well with the weather and rugged conditions!
