So how do the active ingredients in this organic face cream work?

• Organic Shea Butter: a wonderful skin moisturiser. Shea can help soothe cracked and damaged skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple. It is also rich in vitamins A and E — antioxidants that help combat free radicals on skin, caused by environmental factors. Raw shea butter is also called karité butter as it is made from nuts grown on the karité tree in Ghana.

• Organic Cocoa Butter: a fabulously rich moisturiser. We only use cold-pressed cocoa butter to ensure high levels of fatty acids and antioxidants. Fatty acids help to deeply hydrate your skin and keep it looking younger.

• Organic Comfrey Oil (Allantoin): added for its healing and moisturising properties. The key active allantoin supports cell renewal and is gentle for sensitive skin.

• Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide): helps skin cell renewal, soothes irritation and may improve tone in sensitive or eczema-prone skin.

• Organic Chamomile Essential Oil: calming, blends well with lavender, valued for its anti-inflammatory properties.

• Organic Lavender Essential Oil: cleansing and toning; can help reduce redness and skin irritation.

How to Use (Daytime)

• After cleansing and (optional) toner, warm a pea-sized amount between fingertips.
• Press gently into face, neck and décolletage. Use more only if needed — a little goes a long way.
• Suitable under SPF and makeup for a smooth, comfortable base.
