How does this serum for dry skin work?

• Organic Jojoba oil and Organic Avocado oils are 'super oils'. They are chosen for their high GLA content to achieve deep down moisturising. Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), is an essential fatty acid required in the maintenance of healthy skin. Oils with a high GLA content can also be beneficial in the treatment of various skin conditions, including dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.

• Organic Jojoba oil helps your skin tissue retain moisture. It is light in nature and is also a very effective moisturiser, resulting in soft and supple skin. Jojoba oil is non-greasy and does not create a thick layer of oil on your skin.

• Avocado oil contains proteins, unsaturated fats, and omega-3 fatty acids. These are all highly beneficial for your skin. It also contains a natural substance called Sterolin. This helps to soften skin and can also reduce the incidence of age related spots. The antioxidants (vitamins A, D and E) found within the oil help with skin suppleness and plumpness.

• Organic Calendula flower oil has proven anti-fungal, antiseptic and astringent properties. These combine to help support your skin’s healing processes. It is also high in antioxidants, and is very effective in skin cell renewal.

• Organic Rosehip oil is well known for very effective cell and tissue regeneration. It is also one of the best anti aging oils available and can help address many skin issues.

• We have also added Apricot Kernel oil  which is high in Omegas 7 and 9. It can improve cell regeneration and assist in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. This oil is easily absorbed and is good for dry and sensitive skin. It also helps with skin softness, suppleness and improves elasticity.

• Organic Carrot seed oil helps to clear your lymphatic system. The oil also contains moisturizing vitamin E and protective vitamin C. These work in combination to benefit skin rejuvenation and healing. Carrot seed oil can also assist eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis because of its ability to stimulate cells and repair damaged skin. Carrot seed is also a source of retinol which can help refine lines and skin tone too.
